We are talking about Crypto Taxation today:

I have seen many people anxiously talking about Tax-free cryptocurrencies and these people just like you and me, are also Crypto investors/ HODLers.

Today I am posting a little about Tax-free cryptocurrencies.

By hearing the name Cryptocurrencies the first thing that came to our mind that Is there Countries in the World where Cryptos are not Taxed?

And the answer is yes! there are!

but some countries are confused that whether to include Cryptos as a Commodity, Currency, or asset. so until that Confusion is getting solved. I am going to talk about some Tax haven countries for cryptos that can benefit you.

There are all sorts of crypto taxes (like GST, VAT, CGT, and SERVICE TAX.) But today we will only talk about CGT i.e. Capital Gains Tax. because that only matters to users or investors like us.

Crypto Tax-Free Countries: As per rules and regulations I am sharing the details of countries where Cryptocurrencies Taxes are Free or almost Free.

  2. Portugal
  3. UAE
  4. El Salvador
  5. Singapore
  6. Malaysia
  7. Malta (Crypto Tax haven)
  8. Cayman Island
  9. Puerto Rico
  10. Switzerland

Countries having Taxes on Cryptocurrencies :

1. Germany

2. Singapore

3. Belarus

4. Slovenia

5. Thailand

Taxation on Crypto

For now, there are only these countries that have officially taken a stand on the Tax exemption of Capital gains on Bitcoin/ Cryptos.

That said, many countries are “unofficially” bitcoin tax havens because they have no capital gains tax there. Some of these countries are Hong Kong, New Zealand, Switzerland, Barbados, Malaysia, Mauritius, and others.

So if you live in one of the above countries, enjoy the freedom of capital. And if you are not from these countries, then you may choose to go there!

Before you plan to go to any of these countries, make sure how easy or difficult it is to get a bank account. For example, Dubai is another hot destination for crypto startups and investors, but getting a bank account for the crypto business in the UAE is a challenge, and so is Singapore.
